The publishing director of the EDF Group portal is Mr Hubert Blanquefort, in his capacity as head of the Digital Communication & Innovation Division, Communications Division of the EDF Group.
The Internet system of the EDF Group was designed by Publicis Sapient, located at: 94 Avenue Gambetta, 75020 Paris.
The EDF Group portal is hosted on the IT equipment of the EDF company - DSP, 32 avenue Pablo Picasso, 92000 Nanterre.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE

The user acknowledges that he/she has read these General Terms and Conditions of Use and agrees to comply with them. EDF reserves the right to amend this notice at any time. The user therefore agrees to consult it on a regular basis.
In the event that you access the EDF Group portal from a country other than France, you agree to also comply with applicable local legislation.

PORTAL CONTENTS

The EDF Group portal is a website that gives access to other websites of EDF or companies in the EDF Group, which may have their own terms and conditions, which must be consulted and followed.The companies of the EDF Group each have their own legal existence and an independent legal personality.
The information provided on the EDF Group portal is for information purposes only.
EDF is unable to guarantee that the information published on the website is accurate, complete or current. It cannot exempt the user from further appropriate analysis.
Therefore, EDF cannot be held liable for errors, omissions or a lack of availability of information and services.
Consequently, the user accepts that he/she is solely responsible when using this information.
EDF cannot be held liable for any direct or indirect damage which may result from the access to or use of the EDF portal, including but not limited to inaccessibility, loss of data, and/or virus presence on the site.

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AND CIVIL LIBERTIES

In accordance with Regulation no. 2016/679, known as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the amended Law No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 on information technology, files and civil liberties, the personal data collected on the EDF Group portal are reported to the EDF Data Protection Officer (DPO). They are solely for internal use by EDF.
Personal data collected on EDF’s website may be collected for different purposes, depending on the website pages and the collection forms involved.

These are mainly:
  • Private customer spaces, companies or communities: information requests management and contract management
  • EDF space recruits: applications management 
  • Other dedicated areas (shareholders, investors, journalists, suppliers, etc.): contacts and information requests management

Data are kept for the entirety of the relationship with you and up to 3 years afterwards at most, depending on the nature of the relationship in question.
Data thus collected will not be sold, exchanged or leased. In the event that you do not provide this information, EDF may not be able to process the corresponding files.
In accordance with the above, you have a right of objection, access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability for the data pertaining to you.

The trademarks and logos (semi-figurative trademarks) of EDF and EDF Group companies appearing on the websites are registered trademarks. Any total or partial reproduction or representation, whether separate or included with other items, without the prior express written consent of EDF or the EDF Group companies involved, is strictly prohibited. The general structure, software, texts, images, videos, sounds, know-how and activities, and more generally all the information and content contained in the EDF Group portal, are the property of EDF or are subject to a right of use. These items are subject to legislation that protects copyrights.

Any total or partial representation, modification, reproduction or distortion of all or part of the website or its content, by any process whatsoever, and on any medium whatsoever, constitutes an infringement punishable by Articles L 335-2 et seq. of the French Intellectual Property Code.

Any databases shown in the EDF Group portal are protected by the provisions of the French law of 1 July 1998 transposing the European directive of 11 March 1996 on legal protection of databases into the French Intellectual Property Code. In this regard, EDF expressly prohibits any re-use, reproduction or extraction of items from such databases. Unauthorised re-use, reproduction or extraction renders the user liable.

EDF reserves the right to erase any content without delay and without prior notification: message, text, image or graphic that violates the laws and regulations in force, particularly the aforementioned regulations.

In the event that you wish to use any of the website content (text, image, etc.), you must obtain prior express written consent from EDF by writing to the address indicated in the “Terms and Conditions” section or by sending an e-mail to the webmaster.

LINKS

The links to external websites on the EDF Group portal have been the subject of prior express consent.
However, as EDF is not the publisher of these websites, it cannot control their content. Therefore, EDF may not be held liable, under any circumstances, for the content of the websites accessible in this manner, or for any collection and transmission of personal data, installation of cookies or any other process with the same purpose carried out by these websites.
You may not set up a hyperlink to the EDF Group portal without the prior express written consent of EDF. Requests must be sent to the director of publication of the EDF Group portal.

ACCESS CODE AND PASSWORD MANAGEMENT

Certain interactive services on the EDF Group portal require an access code and a password, which are supplied by the managers of these services. These access codes and passwords are confidential, personal, unassignable and non-transferable. You are responsible for managing and storing them and the results of their use. It is your responsibility to take the necessary steps to protect and store them. EDF may not under any circumstances be held liable for any fraudulent use.

For security reasons, access to secure sections will be automatically blocked after several failed access attempts. EDF reserves the right to suspend access to the website in the event of fraudulent use or attempted fraudulent use of a user’s password or access code. In the event that access is suspended, you will be informed by EDF.

APPLICABLE LAW

The law applicable to the EDF Group portal is French law. Most of the online content and services on the EDF Group portal is available in French and English. In the event of any dispute, the French text will prevail.
