The West African Power Pool (WAPP), a Flagship Project
A daunting project for the WAPP: supervising the design and commissioning of a coordination and information centre shared between 14 countries.
Constructing this ambitious coordination centre in Benin will require all of our transportation engineering know-how. A project that illustrates our international reach.

E-monitoring
Remote management is a must when it comes to improving the performance of power stations and networks. Whether it's used for maintenance, training or crisis support, e-monitoring will allow you to remotely manage power evacuation facilities. It provides optimal flexibility and responsiveness.

Drones
Drones have come to be particularly useful for monitoring the maintenance and aging of electricity transmission facilities. They provide highly precise site surveys, allowing us to achieve better infrastructure management.

Augmented reality
Augmented reality is undergoing full development at EDF's R&D department. It is perfectly suited to our transmission network engineering business, and will allow us to anticipate and manage facility aging.
